Circle of Friends
Mount Carmel has an exciting ministry just for families with children who have special needs! Our passion is to serve not only children with mental and physical disabilities, but their families as well. With a host of loving, devoted, and trained volunteers, it is our hope that parents will feel a comfort in entrusting their precious little ones to us while they worship.
Our Format:
Sunday School, 9:15 – 10:15 am: our volunteers also help as buddies during this hour, helping children in the regular age-appropriate Sunday School classroom, while allowing Mom and Dad to attend their class.
Sunday morning worship, 10:30 – 11:30 am: Circle of Friends meets in the Family Life Building for games, Bible story, snack and choice-time while Mom and Dad worship.
Wednesday Evening, 6:00 - 7:30 pm: AWANA – our excellent team of helpers are on standby to help as “buddies” during recreation, devotion and handbook time.
